The full trailer of Crazy Rich Asians is finally out and it’s better than anyone could imagine. As of writing, there are over 15,000 tweets and counting dedicated to it. Let’s read some of them, shall we?
The movie is about Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), who meets her boyfriend, Nick Young’s (Henry Golding) wealthy family for the first time. She’ll also meet challenges as she’s often scrutinized by his mother, Eleanor Young (Michelle Yeoh) and the other elites in his circle.
That said, people were so excited to see the all-Asian cast in the film. People of different Asian ethnicities and races tweeted their gratitude and how they wanted to show the trailer to their families.

Many couldn’t handle their emotions while watching the trailer. Mostly because of the movie’s diversity.
People are also stoked about Michelle’s non-violent role. One netizen even dubbed her “Asian Meryl Streep.”

And after hearing the song in the trailer (BTW, it’s “Glorious” by Macklemore), some are expecting a fire Crazy Rich Asians soundtrack.
To add to the excitement, Crazy Rich Asians also released the first official poster. A reminder that the film will be premiering in August.
